Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She then worked as a morning reporter and anchor for WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell's experience in Charleston has led to her serving as a co-anchor, reporter as well as NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV. Prior to joining Access Hollywood she was a co-anchor on weekdays as well as NBC's weekend co-anchor. O'Dell in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC.
